Look at the beautiful quilting done by Beverly of Bev's Machine Quilting of Quaker City, Ohio.  This is the "Moonlight" quilt for Island Batik for International Spring Market in

Pittsburgh, Pa, in May, 2014.

Sunday, February 16, 2014

Here are two of the blocks from my Island Batik designer quilt.  It will be displayed at Spring market in Pittsburgh this coming May.  Not allowed to show the final quilt until then.  I named the quilt "Moonlight". The line of fabric is called Cognac, so I looked up drink recipes using Cognac and found one called Moonlight and it seemed to fit the design perfectly!  Will post the recipe later.

Time for my really BIG announcement!
A few weeks ago I got back from filming my CRAFTSY SQUARE-AGONALS CLASS!!!!!!  How exciting it was.
The class will be released in spring.
Very soon I will be posting photos of my adventure and more details on the class.

I am now a CRAFTSY instructor!

I tried to show you the new spring fabric line from Island Batik "Cognac", but my kitty Hero said you have to wait a few more days!

Tuesday, February 11, 2014

Hey! Here I am again, lots going on in my quilt life, so time to share some news.

I am now a designer for Island Batik fabrics and here I am opening the box of the new fabric line "Cognac".  Beautiful golds and black.  The quilt I am designing is a Square-agonals design, of course. It will be displayed at Quilt Spring Market in Pittsburgh.  Can't show you more right now but will post some blocks as I complete them. The quilt name is "Moonlight".
