Happy Thanksgiving

Just want to thank all of you who have helped in any way to support my book. May you all have a safe and joyous holiday week.

My kids are home and all their friends are here right now and filling the house with youthful energy and laughter! I love them all!

My pies are done, as well as the three types of chex mix, sweet potatoe casserole, and mashed potato casserole. Turkeys (need to serve 25+) are soaking in the brine and ready for the morning. I might be able to relax a bit tonight.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and be thankful for what you do have!

Pine Tree Quilt Shop

Two weeks ago I spent a saturday at the Pine Tree Quilt Shop in Waynesburg, Pa doing demonstrations on "Square-agonals" and signing books. It was a fun filled day and Linda, the owner, has a way of making you feel right at home in her lovely shop. It is bright, cheery and full of lovely fabrics and samples. Linda and her staff greet you and make you feel like one of the family. Verna, our shop hop and Columbus bus driver, lives nearby and stopped in to visit. Rachel (one of my best quilt friends) came along to help. Enjoy the photos and be sure to stop in and visit Linda if you are in the area. I am scheduled to do a full day of "Square-agonals" classes on January 15 and February 12 and I am certainly looking forward to it.

I'm Back

So sorry for the delay in getting back here, went on the shop hop directly after market, then to Waynesburg at the Pine Tree Quilt Shop, then sick, now trying to recoup and regroup.
For today I am posting some pics from the fun shop hop through Amish country in Ohio. It was a delightful two day trip with the greatest quilt ladies I know (and Verna, the best driver in the world!) They let me help them pick out their fabric and spend their money! I love picking out fabric! It might be one of my favorite parts of making a quilt.
Enjoy the photos and look for more postings tomorrow.

Getting ready to leave market. My pic in front of the Landauer booth. Will be flying home early tomorrow so good bye to market and all the excitement. Give me a couple days to regroup then will be sending updates from the shop hop and my weekend activities. Good night!

Alex Anderson

Got to go to alex's schoolhouse on Friday and had a brief chat with her this morning, she loved my hair (most people have) she said she loved my book idea but she had to run and I had to do a demo and I never got to meet up with her again.

Just got done telling Lynette Jensen all about the BOM squad. She is saying hello to you in this photo!
