Pieceable Quilters Guild of Zanesville, Ohio

Last month I did lecture/trunk show for the Pieceable Quilters Guild in Zanesville, Ohio.  It was a large group and we had a lot of fun.  So today I will be returning for back to back classes on my "Square-agonals 9-Patch Table Runner".  Here a few photos from last month and I will post new photos of my students and their creations in a few days.

Material Girl

A few weeks ago I visited Material Girl Fabric Outlet in Dover, Ohio.  What a lovely shop filled with goodies and beautiful fabric. I did a Square-agonals Demonstration/Lecture and held a class in the afternoon.  The girls and I had a great time and their finished quilts were lovely.  Wendy and her staff made it a very enjoyable day!

Picture Updates-Belleville, WV

Back in May I had the pleasure of being the guest speaker for the Belleville, WV guild, Helping Hands. What a lovely reception they gave me, as well as an enthusiastic and attentive audience.  I did my lecture on "Square-agonals" and my trunk show.  This was followed by the most delicious pot luck luncheon!  These ladies aare excellent cooks and I am still waiting for those recipes!

This event was also a treat for me becuase my daughter was home from Florida and accompanied me.  She had never seen me "at work" and she was impressed.  That is also why there were so many photos, she had control of the camera.

Thank you again ladies and I hope you have me for a return visit!

Free Pattern and updates!

I will be sending out my FREE Square-agonals Pattern later today to all of you who requested it during the 100 Blocks Blog Tour.  Unfortunately, several of you that requested the pattern did not leave an email address, nor was your blog profile visible for me to retrieve it.  If you don't receive your free pattern by tomorrow, blog or email me and Iwill send it out.  Later this week I hope to add a link to the pattern on this blog.

I will also be playing catch up and posting photos from my last few book events along with the latest photos of the Block of The Month "Jessica's Block" from May.

All I can say is when you have a new baby come into the family (my niece), mom's and aunt's with surgery, and kids home for the summer......life gets outta hand!

Where I am today!

If you are in Dover, Ohio today stop in at the Material Girl Quilt Shop!  I will be doing a lecture/trunk show at 10, will bein theshop all morning, then teaching a Square-agonals class at 1.  See you there!

First I have to say this is a thrill for me!  Being published in Volume 3 of "Quiltmakers 100 Blocks" is a real privilege!  Then to be part of this blog makes it even more exciting! (My prize information and instructions are listed at the bottom of this post)

I love to design blocks and quilts.  My designer block

"Amish #8" (block #260, Page 55) came about by playing with precut squares and triangles.  It is a very visual block and a lot of design options can be done with it.
