Had my dinner at the Minute Maid ballpark with the sweetest couple from South Carolina, Rhett and Pat. The dinner was sponsored by Moda  and I have to thank Theresas Fabrics for the invite. We had a Texas BBQ with pulled pork, brisket, potato salad and pecan pie.

Here some great news, just talked with Mark Lapinski via webcam and he said he will be reviewing my book on his Mojo talk show and putting it in his winter issue of Fabric Trends. He loves the concept, gave me some advice and loves my blue hair!  Sent from Sandi's iPhone

Went really well and received good feedback on the book and presentation.

Starting my schoolhouse session. Had a full room and people standing.

Just before my schoolhouse session began Elly Sinkiewicz came over and chatted with me. What a lovely lady!

This is view from above of the market in chaos, booths are still being constructed and decorated.

Tamarack Artisan Center

On the 9th of October I was invited to do a book signing at Tamarack. This is a premier artisan center of West Virginia. I signed books all afternoon and met people from all over the United States as they traveled through West Virginia. I know for sure that I now have books residing in Rhode Island, California, Florida Virginia and many other states. Hope some of you are visiting my blog! Thank you Tamarack and all of you who stopped to chat and buy my book.

Pieces of the Past

Never got to tell you what a great day I had at Pieces of the Past Quilt Shop in Harrisville, WV. It was during the Mountain Quilt Quest Shop Hop and I got to visit with a lot of wonderful quilters. It was a beautiful fall day and everyone that stopped in got to taste Kathy's delicious Taco Chili and enjoy all the interesting patterns and giveaways. Thanks Kathy for having me!

Where have I been?

Sorry, so much has been going on I haven't been able to keep up. Have been away to the Outer Banks for a weeks vacation, then crazily getting things ready for Fall Market and working on the final details of my two new lines of
"Square-agonals" cutting guide tape which is going to be introduced at Fall Market.

Before I leave for market I will be posting pics from my last two book events and will post the scheduled events for Market.

Bear with me!
