  44. I couldn't choose! I may not be clever or experienced enough for the book but would be thrilled to have it; and fabric is always welcome of course!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Either prize would be lovely. I know the Art fabrics would find a happy home in my sewing room--because I am trying very hard to get away from all my very old tone on tones in muted shades. I need to change some old habits, I think.

Your book also looks interesting, with the combination of math and quilting. I've read that many math teachers are quilters. I do only easy patchwork, most of it in the Liberated Style, but I've always enjoyed the "figuring out" part of a project, including calculating the needed yardage. Thanks very much.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I would love to win either prize! I'm intrigued by the math foundation of your book. Even though quilting is an art, there's a lot of math involved in getting it done. It's the best of both worlds!

    ReplyDelete
  53. I love the look of your book! I take a 'geometric' approach to my projects. Thanks for the giveaway chances.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Your book looks like a really interesting concept, especially since I am a Math girl myself!! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!!! It would be a hard decision between the two, but since I have about a gazillion WIPs already, I think a nice fat quarter bundle would be put to better use right now!! Your book has definitely gone on my 'someday when I have less WIPs' list though!

    Cheers!

  58. Hi Sandi Sweetie...
Oh what fun I have had today blog HOPPING for the Fall to Fall blog giveaway. It has been so much fun. I have met so many wonderful ladies and your crafts and shares are so beautiful. It is not just the quilting but all the beautiful pin keeps and table runners and pumpkins and fabrics and totes. So many wonderful projects.

I took a little time and browsed through your blog home sweet friend. I love what I saw. You have so many beautiful classes displayed and the projects that the ladies have shared are phenomenal. I can't believe how beautiful they are. I would so love to quilt. I have done lap projects of preprinted fabrics, but never anything like what you have shared with the diagonals. So pretty.

I would love to win your book so that I might be able to try and make a project of my own.

Thank you for the wonderful opportunity sweet friend. I have signed up to follow your blog so that I can keep in touch with your posts. I hope you will stop by and sign up to follow my blog as well. I love meeting new friends.

    Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

    ReplyDelete
  109. I checked out your book - even though I never have time ;-) - and it looks very interesting. I would still prefer the fabric though as giveaway prize - but that does not have to do with your book but rather with the fact that I am a bloody beginning quilter and am not yet ready to try new techniques. Still working on the little things and trying to finish my first quilt ever! :-)

Thanks for the giveaway. And if you want to come by my blog and enter my

  151. Hi Sandi, I'd like to be in the draw for the fabric (but the book is on my Wish List for a later date when I can get it) I love the idea of it and I think it's going to be great. I watched the little demo and all the quilts in your picture look fabulous.

  164. I would love to win either, Your book would be great but so would some new stash. Thanks for the opportunity.

  165. I'm intrigued by your book. I love the mathematical part of quilting - I think it appeals because you can work out how to make patterns in an rational way, but there is still a freedom to be creative when using patterns and colour.

  166. Wow, either gift is a great choice, so if you pick out my name you choose, am a winner just by getting to visit all these fabulous blogs and see lots of new things. Great times!

  167. Congrats on the new book! I would love to win the fat quarters, as I am a bit short on fabric! XD

  168. Your book sounds very interesting. I have been hesitant to try a diagonal setting because of the setting triangles. Looking forward to seeing your book in a store near me.

  179. I'm a sucker for fabric. I'd love to win the fq's. Though I'd also like to know about sewing in square-agonals. I'm not envisioning how to set on a diagonal without set triangles. Have fun on your tour :0)
