This is it! My BLOG TOUR Day!

First I have to say this is a thrill for me!  Being published in Volume 3 of "Quiltmakers 100 Blocks" is a real privilege!  Then to be part of this blog makes it even more exciting! (My prize information and instructions are listed at the bottom of this post)

I love to design blocks and quilts.  My designer block
"Amish #8" (block #260, Page 55) came about by playing with precut squares and triangles.  It is a very visual block and a lot of design options can be done with it.
Amish #8

Here are two sample layout designs for you:

Design #1 - Approx 76" X 76"

Design #2 - Approx 52" X 52"

I want to thank you for visiting my blog. My first giveaway prize is a signed copy of my new quilt book "Square-agonals; A New Angle on Quilting".  It is about a new technique for creating diagonal set quilts without cutting any setting triangles, corner triangles, math calculations, or sewing in diagonal rows.  You can find out more about my book on my web site book page: http://www.stitchedbuy.com/Home/my-book-page-1

My second giveaway is a copy of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Volume 3

Just leave me a comment about my blog, the tour, my block, or my book.  If you would like a free "Square-agonals" pattern, mention it in your comment along with your email address and I will send it to you next month when it is realeased.  A picture of it is on my web site.

Don't forget to visit the other blogs listed on the Quiltmaker Blog Page for the chance to see the other blocks and win more prizes.  Remember the issue goes on sale May 10th!

Thank you again for visiting and here is the link
