Blog Hop Party!!!! With Giveaways!!!!!

December 10 through December 17.

Join me and over two hundred blogs for a Blog Hop Party and the chance to win lots of prizes!  For my giveaway I am giving a set of four new "Square-agonals" Patterns that were just released at fall market in November.  Since there are a total of eight new patterns, that means I will have two winners, each getting four patterns!  What do you need to do?  Simply leave me a comment about what is your favorite activity during the holidays.  And don't forget to leave me your contact email.  The last time I gave away copies of my book I had several winners who I could not contact and therefore they never knew they won :(

    My favorite activity during the holidays is taking photos of everyone as they open presents and whoever is around the dinning table for Xmas lunch and all the friends that pop around for a drink and/or BBQ in the evening. And once everyone has gone, I like to sew.

    Wow another bloghopparty, like last year! I like to give it a change, For me the christmas days are familydays, we all join at ones house and prepare a nice family dinner. We chat a lot and laugh a lot, stay overnight, laying out bads all over the house, always a lot of fun! Here in the Ntherlands we have Sinterklaas on dec. 5th, we (at least ous family) have no tradition of christmas gifts.

    I look forward to going to myh mother's house on Christmas Eve. All of our family is there and we get to see each other and share stories as well as eat food and exchanging gifts.     Having my family together is the best activity I can think of. All the boys live so far apart. And this year we have one coming home from Iraq...hopefully before Christmas as that is the rumor.

    One of our favorite activities is the Teddy Bear Hockey Game here in Spokane. When the first goal happens, everyone throws Teddy Bears onto the ice for Charity. Last night, 5000 were thrown. My gkids just love it! Thanks for the giveaway.

    At Christmas time, we have 3 separate family gatherings--- my hubbies family, my family, and "our" family with the girls and son-in-laws... Even though we all live close and have family gatherings all year, Christmas is SPECIAL! One thing that has been missing for many years though, is the excitement and wonder that kids bring to Christmas-- all the kids have grown up and things just weren't the same... But this year, the joy is back! We have our first grandchild and she is the first Great-grandchild for the whole family! Christmas is going to be SO much fun this year!

    Our kids are older now & the "baby" is 14, so we don't see any of that wide-eyed thrill of the little ones anymore. But, we enjoy playing interactive games & cards with them for some good conversation around the table & always have snacks & fruits to nibble on. Thank you for this offer of your patterns!

    Our favorite activity is to do a Bible study each night starting at Thanksgiving and going through Christmas that is an overview of the whole Bible - we do a Jesse tree filled with ornaments representing each reading.

    We love to set up the train layout under and around the tree, complete with over 20 buildings and accessories and use the engine and cars that my father in law played with when he was young. He never met my kids but this the way that he is always with us for the holidays.
