Welcome to my blog and the Quilter's Blog Hop Party! (December 10-15, 2013) Just leave a comment on my blog about what you want to see on a quilting blog.
I admit I have been lax in keeping my blog current, but I am at a loss as what to put on it. So you can help me out by leaving your comment and TWO of you will win a copy of my newest Square-agonals book, "12 Easy Pieces"!
What is Square-agonals? It is my technique for creating an on-point quilt without cutting any corner or setting triangles, doing any math calculations, or sewing in diagonal rows. Check out my web site for more information and my "Sandi's Store" for my books, guide tapes, and line of patterns.
What you need to do to win a copy of my book
- Leave your comment on what you want to see on a quilting blog.
- Be sure to leave a way for me to contact you if you win (will ship internationally).
- Go back to the Quilters's Blog Hop Party! to visit the other blogs.
Thank you for visiting and for your helpful comments! Good Luck!Happy Holidays to you!....Sandi
I love to see tutorials. Ways of doing things. Mistakes that were made and how to fix them....if possible.
ReplyDeleteI like blogs that "keep it real". For those of us just starting or are nervous about starting a particular block/technique...it is nice to know that those that have been doing this for a while, still remember what it is like just starting out.
I enjoy reading about projects in all stages and the decisions made along the way. I learn so much by how bloggers choose their fabrics, choose a binding fabric and everything in between! I agree with Natasha about keeping it real too.
ReplyDeleteI like a mix of projects and tutorials with lots of pictures!

I like to see tutorials, patterns, and works in progress. When it comes to tutorials and patterns though, I prefer if I can possibly download them and keep them afterwards because I like to refer to them over and over without having to try to remember where it was that I saw that on the 100s of blogs that I subscribe to.
ReplyDeleteI like tutorials and I also like bag patterns. It´s nice with photos, but not too many!

I love tutorials with pictures and tips1 Thank you for your willingness to do this! One big thing you can do is to remove the robot thing off your comment form. It reallt discourages comments. sometimes it takes me 3 times to get accepted and then I just don't bother to do it one more time. this is time number 2 so we will see it I get in or give up.
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials, and I love anything that involves scraps! I am always thrilled to find another idea for small quilted gifts, and I love to follow someone's progress as they make a project. Truthfully, I really appreciate photos of where the blogger lives. In your case, those photos would be even more welcome, as I think West Virginia is one of our most beautiful states!
